La Rencontre Animée was initiated in 2005 in Annecy, France, as a project aimed at providing cross-cultural learning experiences for university-level animation students. It has been held every year since then, with the exception of 2013, most often in France, but also in Wrexham, United Kingdom, and Philadelphia. Please read more about it at our blog site.
